Slair chair is the result of a study on the excitement of modern seating.
The design consists of geometrically simple surfaces which result in the overall shape of a cut cuboid.
Taking place on the slair chair initiates a sliding movement of the upper part of the chair against the base. This movement takes on one of the oldest ideas of dynamic sitting; the rocking chair.
Seat and backrest were equipped with neoprene upholstery.
The prototype was primarily produced of 10mm thick beech wood; 2019.
