Pump is the result of the project 'Blow up'.
This product family includes a chair and a bar stool with a special upholstery.
The concept behind the design focuses on creating a contrast between the look of inflated objects and hard edges.
This contrast is created by interrupting the upholstery with a plastic grid.
The design is inspired by the cyberpunk culture and creates the impression of an synthetic produced organism.
Seat and backrest were equipped with artificial leather upholstery. The interrupting grid is made of vivak plastic.
The frame was primarily produced of beech wood; 2019.
