The occurrence of the worldwide Covid19 pandemic has painfully demonstrated the importance of effective human respiratory protection.
Aside from that, a variety of other applications necessitate effective and comfortable face and nasal masks to filter particles or protect the human lungs from a variety of toxins.
The concept of the i ResProtec mask was developed after an investigation of the use of mouth-nose masks for respiratory and pulmonary protection and the challenges that were discovered.
This mask uses an algorithm-based design tool to adapt to the wearer's specific face for best protection and comfort, making it more of an accessory than a limiting barrier.; Bachelorthesis 2022.
